On Thursday, May 29, at 5 p.m., the California E-Bike Incentive Program will re-launch a lottery for eligible adults to receive a voucher worth up to $2,000 toward the purchase of an e-bike. Applicants must have an income at or below 300% of the Federal Poverty Level to qualify. Applicants are encouraged to arrive early to join a virtual waiting room between 5–6 p.m. Vouchers are awarded based on a lottery system. The voucher can be used to purchase an eligible e-bike, accessories (helmet, bike lock, racks, basket, etc.), assembly and delivery fees and any sales tax associated with eligible purchases. This program is statewide and funded through the California Air Resources Board (CARB).
