The City will soon begin construction for the 2025 Street Resurfacing project. The project is part of the five-year street maintenance program to keep public streets in good condition by performing annual pavement repairs City-wide. This year, the project will improve 14 city streets across five districts and includes asphalt resurfacing, traffic signing and striping and minor concrete improvements (curb ramp upgrades at select locations). On March 25, the City Council awarded the Project’s construction contract to Teichert Construction and work is scheduled to occur from June to Sept. The project webpage provides additional information, including a map of the proposed resurfacing locations and construction updates. The construction work will require partial lane closures and detours, and traffic controls will be enforced at all times for public safety. We appreciate the public’s patience while this important work is underway.
