Affordable housing for seniors - applications open through Aug. 26

Applications are now open for affordable rental units for seniors (ages 62 and older) at Sequoia Belle Haven. Applications are due Aug. 26 at 5 p.m.

Units are located at 1221 Willow Road in Menlo Park.

Applications are open for one-bedroom units at the 30%, 45% and 50% Area Median Income Levels. Once current vacancies are filled, remaining applicants will be placed on a waitlist for future vacancies. More information about the property and income eligibility requirements is available here.

At least one member in the household must be 62 or older to qualify. Applications can be submitted electronically or in person at the property management office.

Amenities include: community room with kitchen, computer lab, fitness center, courtyard area, outdoor walking path, lounge with pool table, shuffleboard, onsite laundry and garden boxes.

Services offered include: health and wellness programming, educational workshops, life skills development, nutrition classes, group exercise classes, health fairs/health screens, social programming, arts and crafts, holiday celebrations, other social events and connections to community resources.
