Join the Downtown Parking Management Study Open House Sept. 25
Published on September 08, 2025
Attend the Menlo Park Downtown Parking Management Study Open House on Thursday, Sept. 25, from 6 to 7:30 p.m. in the Sequoia Room at the Arrillaga Family Recreation Center (700 Alma St.) to share feedback on parking in downtown Menlo Park.
The City, with our consultants, is working on a parking management strategy based on data and community input to evaluate potential tools to improve access and the overall parking experience in downtown Menlo Park.
Parking management is the process of actively planning and managing how parking spaces are used, which includes setting parking rates and parking duration limits, allowing for specific uses of spaces. Its goal is to ensure fair and efficient access to this shared public resource.
The Open House is an opportunity for you to share input on how you currently use parking in downtown Menlo Park, and how you would like to see these spaces used in the future.
At the Open House, you are encouraged to browse and engage at your own pace. A summary slide will be available to help guide you through what the study includes, what it does not and the reasons behind it. Several tables will provide additional information and offer opportunities for you to share your feedback.
