Participate in Earth Hour 2022
Published on March 21, 2022
Every year, at 8:30 p.m. on the last Saturday of March, supporters in over 190 countries take action to raise awareness of the issues facing our one home. Earth Hour is a global show of solidarity, drawing the world's attention to the climate and nature crises, and spurring action for urgent change.
You can support Earth Hour by turning off the nonessential lights in your home, office and anywhere it is safe to do so, and play your part in raising attention to these vital issues.
After switching off your lights, here's how you can spend the hour with your friends, family and community:
- Reconnect with nature
- Cook up a meal with your family or friends
- Spend time with your loved ones
- Up your knowledge
- Be active
- Discover your artistic side
