Become a Qualified Water Efficient Landscaper!

Do you want to become a recognized industry leader in sustainable landscaping and efficient irrigation? You can register online today to earn your Qualified Water Efficient Landscaper (QWEL) certification through the Bay Area Water Supply & Conservation Agency (BAWSCA). The QWEL professional certification course offers education on water-saving sustainable landscaping principles, soils, plant water needs, irrigation system troubleshooting, landscape audits, controller programming and more. The certificate is recognized as a U.S. EPA WaterSense labeled Professional Certification Program for Irrigation System Auditing and is a multi-year WaterSense Sustained Excellence award winner. The two-week course features live online instruction four days per week with a sustainable landscaping and irrigation expert. Class sessions will be offered Monday, May 1 to Thursday, May 11 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Everyone is welcome to attend, including landscape contractors and irrigation technicians, park and public agency maintenance staff, landscape architects and designers, and others interested in landscape water conservation.
