Request for a use permit to demolish an existing two-story, single-family residence and construct a new two-story single-family residence on a substandard lot with regard to lot width and area in the R-1-U (Single Family Urban Residential) zoning district. The proposal includes an attached accessory dwelling unit (ADU), which is a permitted use that is not subject to discretionary review.
Use Permit Revision/Caroline Leites/842 Hermosa Way:
Request for a use permit revision for an existing two-story, single-family residence with a basement on a substandard lot in the R-E (Residential Estate) zoning district. The original use permit was granted in 2006, and the proposed revisions include a second-story addition above the existing attached garage and along the west (left) side.
Use Permit/SFF 3565 Haven, LLC/3565 Haven Ave.:
Request for a use permit for the use and storage of hazardous materials associated with a research and development business located in the M-2 (General Industrial) zoning district..

City of Menlo Park 2024 General Plan Annual Progress Report:
The General Plan serves as the city’s “constitution” for development and the use of its land. The General Plan contains eight elements: Land Use, Circulation, Housing, Environmental Justice, and a combined Open Space and Conservation, Noise, and Safety Element. The City’s progress towards implementing the General Plan is summarized through an annual progress report (APR). On March 24, 2025, the Planning Commission will consider and provide comments and/or a recommendation to the City Council on the 2024 General Plan APR. On March 25, 2025, the City Council will receive the Housing Commission and Planning Commission’s feedback, review the APR, and consider authorizing City staff to submit the APR to the Governor's Office of Land Use and Climate Innovation (LCI) and with respect to the Housing Element, the State Department of Housing and Community Development (HCD).
