Request for a use permit revision, architectural control, and zoning ordinance amendment to construct a two-story addition of approximately 9,091 square feet at an existing high school in the LS-B (Life Sciences, Bonus) zoning district. The proposal includes a use permit revision to remove 46 required landscape reserve parking spaces in order to accommodate the addition. The existing enrollment cap would not be modified as part of the project. The proposal includes a zoning ordinance amendment to allow a Floor Area Ratio (FAR) of up to 80% on lots less than two acres in lot area, in order for existing schools to expand up to 10,000 square feet.
The application will require review and action by the Planning Commission at a scheduled public meeting. The date of the public meeting has not yet been determined. Once the proposal is scheduled for a specific meeting date, a second notice will be mailed with specific information on the meeting date, time and place. The second notice will be mailed 15 days before the meeting date.
