Gymnastics

The City of Menlo Park’s popular gymnastics program offers youth gymnastics classes at the Arrillaga Family Gymnastics Center. Classes include Kindergym and KinderStars where caregivers and children participate together; NewStars, MiniStars, and SuperStars for independent participation of children ages 3-6; and Level A, Level B, and Level C class progressions for children aged 6 and up.  We also offer a variety of silks, trapeze and aerial programs, a Stretch and Strength program, and an Exploration Through Movement class.

Frequently asked questions

My child is not enjoying the class - what can I do?

We are happy to withdraw your child from the class. We ask that your withdraw request be made by the second class meeting. This allows us to manage classes for the entire community.

Do you offer trial classes?

Menlo Park Gymnastics does not offer trial classes. You may register for a class and if you do not like the class after your first session we are happy to offer you a refund or credit for the session.

Are make-up classes available?

Menlo Park Gymnastics does not offer make-up classes.

Can my child be enrolled for a class where they do not meet the age requirement (due to ability or due to a desire to have my child participate with another student)?

Menlo Park Gymnastics classes are based on age because of the physical and social development of the students. All students under 6 years old are grouped by student age. 6 year old students begin in the Level A class and are moved to higher level classes based on their ability to perform gymnastic skills on the apparatus.

My friends and I would like to schedule a private lesson for our group of children

Menlo Park Gymnastics does not currently offer private gymnastics classes.

May I pay for and attend just a single class?

Do you offer birthday parties?

May I rent out the gymnastics facility?

The only areas currently available for rent in the gymnastics facility are the meeting rooms. Speak to a staff member if you need assistance renting a meeting room space.

Do you have open gym times when my children and I can just play in the gym?
