Taking refuge from the heat

While the upcoming heat advisory for later this week and weekend is mainly projected to bring extreme heat to inland Bay Area locations, all are welcome to visit city facilities to take refuge from the heat in Menlo Park:

  • Menlo Park Library at 800 Alma St. Phone number: 650-330-2520
  • Belle Haven Library at 413 Ivy Dr. Phone number: 650-330-2540

Both locations are open:

  • Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays: Noon–8 p.m.
  • Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays: 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
  • Holidays: closed
